SYNOPSIS:
The year is 1973.
The underground testing of nuclear weapons has unleashed devastating effects on planet Earth. Above ground, Monster Island is all but destroyed. And below the surface, an ancient power has finally reached the end of its rope…
Deep under the ocean, the technologically advanced civilization of Seatopia lies in waiting. Long an undisturbed and peaceful nation, Seatopia is finally forced to defend itself and take revenge against the surface world for its repeated nuclear testing. The Seatopians send forth their god, the giant insect Megalon, to destroy humanity, utilizing an advanced robot developed by a Japanese scientist to guide it.
However, things don’t go as planned. When the robot, dubbed Jet Jaguar by his maker, escapes and flies to Monster Island to fetch Godzilla, the stage is set for a battle royale. With the intergalactic cyborg Gigan returning to Earth to aid the Seatopian’s beetle guardian, and Jet Jaguar himself unexpectedly entering the fray, an epic confrontation between four giants begins, with the future of humanity hanging in the balance.
